  • Identifies and reports any additional maintenance and/or repairs found necessary in conducting assigned tasks

  • Able to work on various makes/models with willingness to learn more about the automotive industry and changing vehicle technologies
  • Able to work on heavy duty equipment such as fleet vehicles or medium-duty trucks

Job Description

Referral Collision provides services with a focus on uncompromising quality, attention to detail, and safety. Vehicle detail specialists play a critical role in ensuring customer vehicles are cleaned to a high standard to exceed customer expectations and provide a clean vehicle upon customer pick-up.

The vehicle detail specialist will encompass many important components, from internal and external cleaning to picking up and dropping off customer vehicles. Ensuring high-quality work and detailed vehicles to our customers with a critical eye to cleanliness, safety, and completed bodywork is the role of the vehicle detailer.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Daily positive attitude
Internal and external vehicle detailing, including fleet vehicles and semi-trucks.
Completing a pre-and post-wash for vehicles.
Picking up and dropping off vehicles as needed, or for sublet work.
Completing various wash and detail services.
Helping to maintain shop cleanliness and decontamination.

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

Have a valid U.S. driver’s license.
Must have a clean driving record.
Must be self-motivated.
Ability to work independently or in a team setting
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of vehicles and components.
Being a self-starter and identifying what needs to be completed.
Good personal hygiene.
Pass criminal background check.
Complete and pass pre-employment drug screening.
Operate both manual and automatic transmissions.

Refinish vehicles back to pre-accident condition following the OEM manufacture specifications and guidelines
Identifies and reports any additional maintenance and/or repairs found necessary in conducting assigned tasks
Able to produce and maintain high-quality work and standards
Able to work on various makes/models with the willingness to learn more about the automotive industry and changing vehicle technologies
Ability to work on heavy-duty equipment such as fleet vehicles, medium-duty trucks, heavy-duty trucks, sprinter vans, trailers, and campers/motorcoaches

Requirements:

Ability to read and understand work orders and estimates
Able to work independently and with a team
Attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work
3+ years of verifiable experience working in the vehicle collision industry
Technical knowledge of major vehicle systems
